I went cheap and got a hardwire kit for $8 and it didn't work so I got another for $10 and it didn't work. Both of them powered up just fine but wouldn't put my Dash Cam in Parking Mode. It just stayed on even after I took the key out of the ignition. So I returned them both and just got the OEM hardwire kit. This kit does exactly as it says. Powers up when you turn the car on and goes to parking mode when you turn the car off. Now I don't need to worry about my car battery draining. So if you have a Focuway Dash Cam I highly recommend getting this kit. It's easy to install yourself. The hardest part was hiding the wires. All together it took me about 10 mins to get power to my camera and another 1 1/2 hours to hide the cables.

Front and rear dashcam. This is the wiring harness. Makes the parking mode possible without killing your battery. It shuts it off before battery goes dead. That is important. I bought three. Cam and harness for each vehicle we have. Real piece of mind and nice travel footage for my RV. Can't recomend this company enough. They are the BEST. I have my whole family buying and have installed 5 already. Not hard. They give you everything you need in an easy to read booklet instruction with video and interactive fuse locater for seems like every vehicle in USA. Such an amazing company with the very best support and this is coming from a cynic like me. Really!
